Mr. Thomas is the Chief Technology Officer of SpaceNews and will continue in that role for MVM following the Exchange. Prior to his role as Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Thomas was CEO of SpaceNews for seven years where he successfully led the business to record profitability and audience growth. He is also a member of SpaceNews’ Board of Directors. Mr. Thomas’ experience spans both print and digital businesses.
Before joining SpaceNews, Mr. Thomas served as COO of Inside Communications, a sports publishing company based in Boulder, Colorado. During his tenure at Inside Communications, he was responsible for leading the company through a digital transformation and was instrumental in steering the company to profitability, growth, and the successful sale of the business to Falconhead Capital. Mr. Thomas has served in numerous digital media and technology leadership roles throughout his career including Senior Digital Manager – Adventure Sports at Quokka Sports, Member of Research Staff at Interval Research Corporation and as a key member of the Apple Customer Support and Human Interface Group in Cupertino, CA. He holds a B.A from San Jose State University.
